As part of the continue renovation of the the site, I am introducing a new topic. A topic for the average young programmer or aspiring programmer so they don’t make the same mistakes as I did. We are going to attempt to make more dynamic and effective programmer in this little corner of the web.
Why a Young Programmer topic
In my day job, I am seeing young programmers and they seem to spend most of their time falling on their faces. Worst of all these poor people are doing things that are self inflicted. I would love to stop that.
As a result of this, I want to spend a bit of time on how not to be a screw up. if you are still in school, what to study that helps your career. How to improve your skills. What the expectation for yourself and your employer are going to be when you get a job. When to expect things.
How are you going to do it?
First it is going to be a series of things I have used to speed up my on boarding time to a new technology. Next,we are going to look at some things you can do to be more effective at your job. Because of the nature of your humanity, that has got to get fix too. No more being a wretched, petty child. We are going to grow your ass up. Finally we are going to show you resources you can use to achieve each of these goals.
Now that we have that out of the way, we have to get to the cost. You are going to have to work your butt off. You will get what you put your efforts into so if you are lazy then you should expect a lazy man’s results.
