As we wrap up the Ubertooth prerequisites, we have to deal with QT4 or more specifically Python QT4. This should sound familiar. We installed a library that played with these exact same widgets. Well here is the Python implementation. So lets dig into and install QT4 for Python.
Install QT4
If you have not yet picked up on the pattern, we need to get to the terminal. So from the Kali Desktop open the terminal.
With that out of the way, in the open terminal window type apt-get install python-qt4 and press enter. As we should expect, we will get out beloved techno-babble.
If only techno-babble could be mined for BitCoins. Anyway, you will get one of two paths for your techno-babble. The first path is like mine. It’s the path of the installed. A byproduct no doubt of the first update and upgrade calls we made.
On the other path, you must install the library. You will likely get a use the hard disk confirmation. Say yes by pressing Y. See below for an example of what you should expect.
Either way you have an installed library.
After all that work, we get to move on from library duty to actually start the install of the Ubertooth software. Finally, we can start having some real fun.
